Adam Siwiec
About
I’m Adam Siwiec, a machine-learning systems engineer based in San Francisco.
I work on Autopilot at Tesla, previously worked on cloud and ML infrastructure at NVIDIA, and studied computer science (Systems) at Stanford.
I’m most interested in the layers underneath modern machine learning: how models are trained and evaluated, how they run across distributed systems, and how software and hardware choices shape their performance. A lot of my side projects come from pulling on one of those threads until it turns into something I can build, measure, or make interactive.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time cycling and lifting, usually with the same tendency to measure and optimize things that shows up in my software projects. I also like being outdoors, experimenting with coffee, gardening, traveling, and disappearing down technical rabbit holes for no especially good reason.
This site is a home for things I made by hand.
